Air-to-air Heat Pumps Incentive Date(s): January 7 - January 1, 2014
Air-to-air Heat Pumps
Heat pumps aren't new. Electric heat pumps first appeared in the 1930s and they've improved dramatically. Heat pumps take heat from the air, warm it up a little and discharge it at a higher temperature. In the summer, the process is reversed. Heat pumps give reliable, efficient air conditioning. Heat pumps use your home's existing ductwork, so it's easy to convert an inefficient propane or oil system.
When you switch to electric heating from Iowa Lakes Electric Cooperative, you'll really save! Our program offers an incredible 1.959 cent credit for electricity used to heat your home October-April!
